A: All products are designed and manufactured in Canada. We are located in Hawkesbury, Ontario, Canada.

Q: What standards are Noreast Electronics products manufactured to?

A: Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers | IEEE, Restriction of Hazardous Substances | RoHS, Canadian Standards Association | CSA , Underwriters Laboratories | UL, International Traffic in Arms Regulations | ITAR, conformed under the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) Canada.

Q: Are All of Noreast Electronics products tested after production?

A: Yes. Noreast Electronics products go through a rigorous quality assurance process including both in production and end of line testing to ensure proper operation.

Q: I have an existing electromagnetic product that I use in my production process. Can Noreast Electronics produce an exact copy?

A: Yes. Noreast Electronics is well known for their reverse engineering and re-design capabilities!

Q: What frequency range of transformers does Noreast have the capability to manufacture?

A: So far, we have produced transformers operating at frequencies ranging from 50 Hz to 1 MHz.

Q: Are all Noreast Electronics parts lead free?

A: Almost all of our parts are RoHS compliant, but not necessarily lead free. Any lead present in our RoHS-compliant parts is within allowable limits or is explicitly exempt in the RoHS directive.

Q: What additional information is helpful when requesting a quote?

A: In addition to basic design specifications, additional considerations could include extreme temperature requirements, specific wire terminations, environmental constraints. Any of this unique requirements are critical data points necessary to properly quote and size a transformers or inductor.

Q: Can Noreast Electronics parts be tape and reeled?

A: In some instance’s part dimensions will not allow for tape and reeling. In instances where specifications allow for reeling we can ship the parts to a third parting reeling house to complete the process. Additional charges may apply.

Q: Can Noreast Electronics products be returned?

A: Noreast Electronic products can be returned for a repair if required by contacting our Customer Service Department for a Return Material Authorization (RMA). However, all of our custom-made parts are Non-Cancellable, Non-returnable (NCNR).
